Several students have read
The Lightning Thief series this year by Rick Riordan. I thoroughly enjoyed them myself! As the students were completing research on their author biographies, we found out that a movie was in the making for the first book in the series! We can't wait!
The Lightning Thief was such a good book and writing the biography on Rick Riordan was fun. It was so cool to find out when his birthday was and what his kids names were.
