Today is December 3,2009. We have computer and art. We also have a late lunch at 12:10, but get a snack in math class. On Wednesday and Thursday we have recess after lunch for about ten minutes. Then we have science and it's a possibility we have pop quiz. In Mrs. hull's class we read a Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens. We will do activities with this book before Christmas break. For history we have a letter due for Thomas Jefferson as if we were Meriwether on the Louisiana territory exploring it. Thats all we have for today.

Yesterday a famous football player came to our school. His name was D.D. Lewis. He played for the Dallas Cowboys for twelve years. Later he started teaching us about fertilizers. Today we have Music class and French class. We are rehearsing for a French play and presentation on Wednesday, December 9, 2009. This play and presentation will be about Christmas in France. This program will start at 10:20 a.m. We also started a new book on Monday. It is called A Christmas Carol. It is about a grouchy old man named Scrooge. He doesn't like Christmas. The ghost of Jacob Marley, Scrooge's dead business partner, tells Scrooge that he will be visited by three ghosts. The ghost of Christmas past, present, and future. Scrooge learns to be nicer toward the end of the story.

Today we are getting back from Thanksgiving break. Everybody has been eating, hunting, and resting, but today we all had to get up early and come to school. Over my Thanksgiving break I played with all of my cousins and hunted. Then after I did that I finally got time to dig in to my Nana's chocolate pie. Her chocolate pie is very good, but this year she decided to try a different kind of pie it is called lemon pie. Now it is on my list of favorites along with her chocolate pie, pumpkin pie, pecan pie. We got my Aunt Meadow to taste test and she said that it was the best lemon pie she had ever tasted. My Great Aunt tried to make a pecan pie all though it didn't taste the best its the thought that counts.

D.D. Lewis

Tomorrow, D.D. Lewis is coming to SA to speak to our 4th through 12th graders. We are very excited to see him. He played for the Dallas Cowboys and earned several Super Bowl rings!

We watched a play put on by the 8th grader's called treasure island. it was really cool but they didn't tell us what happened in the end of the book. Today we get out of school early for Thanksgiving break; We don't come back to school until Monday. We also don't have any other classes today. I can't wait until Thanksgiving because I'm going to spend time with my family and friends.
